Fun and easy headband

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make an elastic headband with tulle flower. It’s an easy sewing project for beginners and it will look great.

This headband was designed to go with our matching Tulle Tutu Skirt.  You can try making both and look fabulous in your own creations!

Supplies Needed

1/4 yd Glitter Tulle Fabric  you can also get it without glitter

OR you can purchase Tulle on a ROLL in a 6″ width x 100 yds (300 feet). Choose a Solid Colour or have some fun with an Assorted Colour pack.

1/2 yd Decorative Crochet Elastic Trim

OR you can if you want this to be a No-Sew project, you can purchase a Head Band instead. (If so, you won’t need the Bias Tape, Needle and Thread!)

Seam Stabilizer – Bias Tape

Thread – I like Guterman Thread but any brand is will do.

Needle – Hand Sewing Needles. If using a sewing machine, use a needle that is compatible with your machine. Check your owner’s manual to learn what is suitable.
